In Need of Color

Everything that I have been posting lately has been in black and white. As much as I like working in black and white, I am a person that loves looking at color. So here is a piece I did earlier this year with color in it:

This was actually a practice sheet of watercolor paper where I was playing around and learning how watercolor reacted to certain things I did. I couldn't get myself to throw this sheet away and the longer I let it sit the more I wanted to mess around with it. So I grabbed some of my black markers and started doodling on it.

I'm excited I was able to turn nothing into something. Now I think I'm going to turn this something into a postcard and mail it off to someone I've been wanting to thank . . .
