Falling for Doodling

Day 17 of AEDM using watercolors, markers, and gel pens.

Since I have kids that I love to make things with, I always have feeds I subscribe to that focus on arts and crafts to do with them.  I recently came across a blog post from Pink and Green Mama that I really wanted to try myself.  I did not use the same materials as her, but I loved the concept of breaking down an image and making each segment different (and I'm such a sucker for anything Fall related).

I always try to step away from doodles like these (I eventually get irritable and impatient with them), but every once in a while it's nice and relaxing to get back into it.

We are little more than halfway through AEDM, how is everyone doing so far?

I love crafting with my kids too. Its been nice to include them in aedm here and there. This looks like a nice craft. Great patterns.

Very nice, and I don't think I've seen this technique before--it's like color-blocking :) I can't believe we're more than halfway done...I was a little "off" today creatively, but overall am really enjoying AEDM!

Thanks ladies!

So glad to hear that you're both enjoying AEDM and even sometimes with others!
