Birthday Dragon

The above drawing was the final outcome (after MANY trials and errors) and was done with a dip pen and india ink.

Monday was the big day - a project I've been working on and off since the beginning of this year was received by my husband for his birthday. He loves dragons, so I though it appropriate to draw my own version for him. I was a nervous wreck since I don't usually draw for other people, but I think he enjoyed receiving it.

I think I may play around with a copy of the original and see how it might look with color . . .
